If I sound like a broken record when I go on about the character of these figures it is because it really defines this era. Oldhammer has it in spades. This guy rolling his eyes to the heavens typifies the soldier's lot in life.
This is an early experiment in NMM which I think is a bit black but it looks like old iron work.
